Join us for a celebratory round to honor the golf architect who inspired the design for hole 3!
Hugh Wilson, a Philadelphia golfer, designed Merion’s East Course in 1910, later refining his strategic, natural style after studying British courses. He created Merion’s West Course, Cobb’s Creek, and Seaview’s Bay Course, pioneering "flashed sand" bunkers before dying at 45. Our 3rd hole embodies his philosophy: hug the fairway bunkers for a clearer shot, then choose to go over, fade around, or lay back from the bunkers to the shallow green.
Hole No. 3: In the style of Hugh Wilson
