Join us for a celebratory round to honor the golf architect who inspired the design for our 9th and 15th holes!
Donald Ross, a Scottish golf course designer, became famous for his work in America, including rebuilding the Oakley Country Club in Boston and designing the Pinehurst courses in North Carolina. He was the most successful golf course architect of his time. Ross's designs often include illusions and deceptions, such as flanking fairway bunkers and ponds that play mind games with golfers. After playing a significant role in its formation, Ross served as the honorary president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. A Fellow Scot, Willie Park Jr. designed Olympia Fields Country Club, the site of this year’s BMW championship taking place on August 17-20.
